Service Learning:

EDN! is committed to encouraging today’s youth to become active and aware citizens in their local communities and in the world. While the youth we work with are often on the receiving end of community support, EDN! enables our students to discover the self-value and joy that comes from giving back. Our students partake in outreach performances on a quarterly basis, performing for and interacting with the elderly, teens and adults with disabilities, children participating in other after-school programs, and audiences at non-profit fundraisers. We also engage our students in such community events as city clean-ups and fundraising projects for young dancers in the developing world. Through experiences such as these, we hope to instill in our students a lifelong value of community engagement and service.
